Follow Octavian Augustus’ steps, the man who inherited a city of bricks and left an empire of marble bound to last for millennia. Along the route of the Augustan Rome, we will trace back to the imperial myth through some unexpected archaeological discoveries.
Sites included: itinerary through the ancient Campus Martius with access during opening hours to a museum dedicated to an imperial monument and an ancient mausoleum transformed over the centuries.
